This is my other blog
For those who don't know me or for those who just want an update ... I am a nearly 30-something living out in Arizona.
I like to do art projects, buy clothes, watch horredous television programming, reading and thinking about living in places like Rome, Paris and NYC -- just like everyone else.
Evidence to decide whether you like me or not:
I subscribe to Domino, Nylon and Home&Garden magazines. I own a lot of shoes. I like to make things pretty and am currently very into things that are shades of green and Gustavian blue.
I read a lot. But I read a lot of crap that we don't need to talk about here. Let's just say if it's pink and girly, I'll probably at least consider reading it. One of my favorites? "Why Girls Are Weird" by Pameal Ribon. Not just about girls sitting around cheating on their boyfriends and drinking martinis, this book is "chick lit" at its best.
Some of my favorite bands are The Oohlas, Dance Hall Crashers, The Coasters (for unending doowop happiness) and anything AC/DC. Lately I've been enjoying Regina Spektor, but I think that era is coming to a close for a while -- how many times can you listen to "Fidelity" or scream "so cheap and juicy" at the top of your lungs in the car without getting a little bored with it?
I used to play the piano but not well. I own a guitar that I swear I will learn to play ... someday.
I'll be posting frequently because my husband is going to law school and has assured me he'll be studying a lot.
Between law school and watching the NBA, I don't know if he'll have a lot of time to hang out and pretend to admire my shoes!
